| 内容記述 | トーマス・マン（1875-1955）の小説『ファウストゥス博士』（1947）は、主人公である作曲家アードリアーン・レーヴァーキューンの生涯が、第二次世界大戦で崩落を迎えようとするドイツの状況と重ねて、書かれている作品である。『ファウストゥス博士』における、これまでの音楽学的な考察としては、現代音楽とその作曲技法や音楽家に焦点を当てた研究は見られたものの、ほぼ同じ頃に演奏実践の分野において成立した、古楽の問題を主題とする研究は少ない。 本稿は、『ファウストゥス博士』から古楽に関わる事象を挙げ、ドイツにおける古楽運動史と照合させることで、1940年代までのドイツの古楽について再検討を試みるものである。 |

| 内容記述 | Thomas Mann (1875-1955) ’s novel Doktor Faustus (1947) focuses on the life of the composer Adrian Leverkühn, and was written with the period of World War II. Although several papers have focused on the problem of the technique of compositions in those days, described in the novel, little attention has been given to the relation between Doktor Faustus and early music. In this paper, quoting several lines form the novel which related to the early music from Doktor Faustus, I would like to reconsider German early music movement until the 1940’s. |
