| 内容記述 | 古典派音楽と比較すると、ロマン派音楽の和声には機能的に把握できない一連の和音の動きが含まれることが多い。本稿では、その中からRoving Harmony（浮遊和声）とParallel Chord（平行和音）を取り上げ、両者が機能和声に基づく長・短調システムからの離脱であり、調性に曖昧さや不確定性を与える「非機能的和声」としての性格をもつこと、さらに両者は機能和声との相関的関係において調性の確定度に関与し、ロマン派音楽における調性の4 つの局面、すなわち「安定」「不安定（流動的）」「曖昧」「不確定」の状態をもたらすために必要不可欠な要素であることを明らかにする。また、この調性の4 つの局面が「夢と愛」に集約されるロマン主義の理念とどのように関連するかについても概説する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Compared with Classical Period, the harmony of Romantic Period Music is not clearly able to understand only from the view of the theory of functional harmony. In this article the author will deal with the Roving Harmony, which Arnold Schoenberg pointed out in his book, Structural Functions of Harmony, and parallel chords, which were not often described in detail as one of the important harmonic techniques of the Romantic Era. The following points will be explained: 1) Both Roving harmony and parallel chords are nonfunctional. Thus, they break the tonality of the music or make it unclear. 2) Nonfunctional harmony cannot be in existence by itself. It cooperates always with functional harmony and operates 4 tonal conditions of the music,namely stable, fluid, vague and indefinite. It will be also surveyed that how these 4 conditions relate to the romantic aesthetics or characteristics, in short fantasy and passion. |
