| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的は、1916（大正5）年6 月から1917（大正6）年1 月にかけて出版された『幼年百譚 お話の庫』に収録されているグリム童話26 話について、改変の有無や改変の傾向を分析し、考察することである。これまで『幼年百譚 お話の庫』には15 話のグリム童話が収録されていることが判明していたが、調査の結果、新たに11 話がグリム童話であると判明し、合計26 話のグリム童話が収録されていることが明らかになった。邦訳はいずれも、話の筋はグリム童話にほぼ忠実であるが、人名が日本人の名前に変えられたり、物の名称が日本人にとって親しみやすいものに置き換えられていたり、結末が子どもの教育にとってよりふさわしいものになるよう改変されていたりする。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to analyze and discuss the books Hundred Tales for Children: Tales Archive (Yonen Hyakutan: Ohanashi no Kura), published between June 1916 and January 1917. It was previously known that this book contained 15 Grimm's fairy tales. As a result of the investigation, 11 additional stories were identified as Grimm's fairy tales, bringing the total number to 26. A comparison of these 26 stories with the original Grimm’s fairy tales has been conducted to determine the extent of any alterations. The storylines of all the Japanese translations are largely faithful to the Grimm's fairy tales. However, there are some changes. First, the character names have been changed to Japanese names, and the names of items have been replaced with more familiar ones for Japanese readers. Second, the endings have been changed to ensure that they are more suitable for children's education. |
