| 内容記述 | 本年度新入学生は、COVID-19予防のため入学早々、1 度もクラス仲間や授業担当教員と対面することなく、遠隔授業の受講を余儀なくされた。筆者は、このような状況下にある学生の学習環境を通常の対面授業に近づけるため、Web会議アプリケーション「Zoom」とコミュニケーションアプリ「LINE」の「オープンチャット」を併用し、授業シラバスで当初予定していたグループディスカッションによる深い思考を誘発する学びあいの実現を試みた。 ディスカッションのような学習者相互による対話を取り入れた学習方法に、東京大学大学発教育支援コンソーシアム推進機構が提唱する「知識構成型ジグソー法」がある。本稿では、この「知識構成型ジグソー法」を基に遠隔授業を設計し、実践した内容を報告するとともに、実践前後における対象学生の学習意欲の変化について考察する。 |

| 内容記述 | The target first-year students have so far had no opportunity to directly get to know either their teacher Sakai or their fellow classmates owing to the COVID-19 disaster. Therefore, the teacher-student relationship has only been based on the indirect contact on the Internet. Under the circumstances, it is interesting to review in a long span the effectiveness of this online remote learning, do researches into the learners’ attitude to English learning before and after this ONLINE class. This paper focuses on surveying (1) the effectiveness of the writer’s ONLINE English class, using the LINE messaging app, OpenChat, together with the Zoom videotelephony software program, in students' small group discussions, and (2) how much and how effectively the target collaborative activities will work out in learner interactive communication and ultimately motivate students to learn English not by memorizing but through deep thought provoking activities. |
