| 内容記述 | 舞台の曲は通常、大きな声ではっきりと歌われ、ストーリーに沿って意味をなしていくものである。韻を踏む言葉の繰り返しのパターンは、言葉遊びであり、それゆえ美的に魅力的で、聞いていて心地よいものである。韻のスペルと発音に注意することで、EFL（外国語としての英語）の授業にどのように生かすことができるかを考察してみたい。以下のミュージカルの曲の韻を説明する。 アニーよ 銃をとれ, オクラホマ！, オリバー！, 王様と私, グリース, キャバレー, スター誕生, オズの魔法使い, イースター・パレード, トップ・ハット, 雨に唄えば, オン・ザ・タウン, 紳士は金髪がお好き, お熱いのがお好き,ロッキー・ホラー・ショー, ドリームガールズ, ジプシー, エルヴィス・プレスリーの映画, アナと雪の女王, 白雪姫。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Songs in musicals are typically sung out loud and clear, and their meanings are usually easy to understand as they relate to the storyline. The repeating pattern of rhyming words is a kind of wordplay, and as such is aesthetically appealing and pleasant to hear. This article discusses how songs from Annie Get Your Gun, Oklahoma!, Oliver!, The King & I, Grease, Cabaret, A Star is Born, Wizard of Oz, Easter Parade, Top Hat, Singin’ in the Rain, On the Town, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Some Like It Hot, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Dreamgirls, Gypsy, some Elvis Presley movies, Frozen, Snow White, and other musicals, can be productively used in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classes especially by paying attention to rhymes and their spelling and pronunciation. |
